April is the Spring Membership Drive at EDF. And for a limited time, the Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust will match all new monthly donations for your first 12 months! That means you can have twice the impact for your first year as an Eco Partner monthly donor. Will you join us as we work together to fight climate change?

Hi John,
This February, at a time when it’s generally below freezing, my hometown in Iowa hit nearly 80° F. We saw that a drought in Texas led to the largest wildfire in the state’s history. California experienced heavy rain that led to flooding and landslides. And the persistent warmth resulted in a historic low of ice coverage across the Great Lakes.
These weather events are an anomaly. And as the climate continues to change, we’ll see even more broken records and unseasonable weather. It’s clear the Earth needs us now more than ever.
That’s why this spring, we’re committed to stepping up our efforts to slash Earth-warming pollution and create a sustainable future for generations to come – but we’re going to need your help, John.

Monthly donations are the backbone of our work, providing the funding needed to put long-term plans into action, keep work moving forward and react quickly in a crisis. With the help of monthly donors, we have been hard at work addressing some of the biggest environmental issues of our time:
- Working alongside farmers to find and implement ways they can feed the world and make ends meet while bearing the brunt of climate change;
- Doubling down on our 50-year effort to protect people from lead, resulting in a national campaign to replace 100% of the lead service pipelines in the United States;
- Passing the most ambitious plans ever to cut tailpipe pollution nationwide by working with partners and rallying thousands of members like you to raise your voice;
- And so much more!
All of our work is possible only because of you, John, someone who cares about the Earth and wants to make the maximum impact to stabilize the climate, better our health and protect the ability of people and nature to thrive.
