Dear John,
We released our endorsements for the Spring Primary Election earlier this month, but I want to make sure you saw them – and update you on some important information regarding safer voting.
We’ve endorsed up and down the ballot, which includes many local races. You can check out our entire list and get helpful voting resources here. [[link removed]]
This election is complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety measures it requires. As you know, the situation has been changing week-by-week, and sometimes day-by-day.
It’s important to stick to what we know: that absentee voting is the safest method for making your voice heard, but keep in mind the deadline to request your ballot is 5 p.m. on April 2 – that’s just days away.
It’s important to stick to what we know: that absentee voting is the safest method for making your voice heard, but keep in mind the deadline to request your ballot is 5 p.m. on April 2 – that's only hours away.
Along with many pro-conservation candidates in local races, we’re proud to endorse Judge Jill Karofsky for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice in the only statewide office on the spring ballot. Her commitment to rejecting partisan ideology, her deeply held Wisconsin values – like fairness and respect for others – and her experience make her the clear choice for our state’s highest court.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to request your absentee ballot right now before 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. You can do that here. [[link removed]] Then, you can check out whom we’ve endorsed in our local races here. [[link removed]]
We’ve included a helpful video on our election page [[link removed]] that demonstrates how to request an absentee ballot on your mobile device. If you need help, email us at

P.S., Our crucial work to elect conservation leaders is not slowing down. Can you pitch in with a donation of whatever you can afford and help us get candidates who will fight for your conservation values over the finish line on April 7? [[link removed]]
