Hi John, happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks. Because of this grassroots team and the strength of this campaign, we hit our fundraising goal for the first quarter of the election year.

In a race that Republicans have made a top target, that’s a big deal. A really big deal, because now, our campaign is in the best possible position to protect this seat and keep PA-17 from falling into right-wing extremist hands. It’s all because you stepped up when it mattered most.

I know my team has been emailing you… a lot. I’ve reached out a few times myself because that’s how important this goal was, and how important this race is. It’s one of the few Democrat-held seats that Republicans are making a top target, and it’s critical that we keep this seat if we want to keep fighting for Western Pennsylvania – and if we want to flip the House back to a functional and governing majority.

So, thanks for bearing with me, and all the messages. Our team is working hard and is determined to win, because there’s a lot at stake.

I’ll be honest, between Donald Trump promising to free January 6th criminals if he’s elected, and Republicans trying to gut Social Security, Medicare, and so much that we hold dear, well, there’s a lot at stake this election year.

I don’t want to say that to scare you John. I say it to you for the same reason that I say it to myself, we deserve better. I’m fighting for better.

So we laid out this ambitious fundraising goal. There’s a lot at stake, and I want to make sure that folks in Western Pennsylvania have a leader in their corner, fighting for them day in and day out. And once again, you came through and delivered when I needed your help.

I promise that I’ll never stop fighting for Western PA.

Together, I know we can defeat any opposition thrown our way, and that we can continue the fight for a better tomorrow.
