Kennan Institute Advisory Council Chair Michael Kimmage will discuss his new book on the war in Ukraine, Collisions: The War in Ukraine and the Origins of the New Global Instability . The book chronicles the long march to the 2022 full-scale invasion, starting in 2008 and covering developments in Ukraine, Europe, Russia and the United States. Kimmage will explore the origins of this war and will place this momentous and terrible event in historical context.
