Our team here at the California Democratic Party are required by law to submit all of our fundraising numbers from January to March to the Federal Election Commission after 11:59pm tomorrow.
Once that data is fully processed, it is publicly available online for everyone and anyone to review it.
And — because control of the U.S. House is going to be decided here in California — you better believe that top Republican operatives will be hitting “REFRESH” on that page until our report is live and they can pore over every detail of our grassroots fundraising operation.
If Republicans see vulnerabilities, say, regions where our donations are going down, they will be ready to pounce on the closest tossup districts and mobilize dark money to overwhelm our operations.
