Even in a pandemic, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) announced today its “best first-quarter fundraising haul” with over $6 million raised in the first three months of 2020:

Republicans get what’s at stake this November: All of our electoral maps for the next decade with redistricting in 2021. We cannot afford to cede control of the electoral mapmaking process and let the GOP lock themselves into national power for the next ten years and beyond.

In 2010, Republicans made unprecedented strategic investments through Project REDMAP to win back over a dozen new statehouses. Then, with control of the redistricting process, they gerrymandered maps and cemented impregnable majorities in states across the country for the rest of the decade.

We are not going to let them get away with this again. Forward Majority is keeping up the fight to hold GOP state legislators accountable for their distortion of our democracy.

The good news is that we have a clear path to take back key state legislative chambers in November that can break GOP trifectas and secure fair maps for millions of Americans for the next decade. We face steep opposition, but with your continued support, we can reclaim and restore our democracy.
