The celebration will take place from 6:00--9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Pearl Street Warehouse.
Each ticket sale includes food and drink and directly supports GGWash’s work to make sure this is a region where housing is abundant and affordable, it's easy and safe to get around without a car, and land use decisions prioritize racial, social, and environmental justice.
We'd love to celebrate 16 years of GGWash with you! Don’t delay: the ticket price increases from $160 to $200 after April 7 – and advance ticket purchase is required to attend.
Why the Sweet Sixteen?
For many people who grow up in the US, your sixteenth birthday is an important milestone. After a lifetime of being dependent on others for basic mobility, you are finally old enough to drive a car by yourself. Unless you live in a walkable place, this might be your first taste of independence. You learn to associate driving with freedom.
It doesn't have to be that way.
As we celebrate our sixteenth birthday, we want to recognize all the wonderful people who show up every day to help make this region a place where people can thrive without having to drive.

Can’t make it? Please consider purchasing a pay-it-forward ticket . Every year, generous GGWash supporters make it possible for us to invite dozens of community members who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. So far, we've only sold two, and we already have seven requests for tickets.
