School nurses are critical to our nation's public health infrastructure. The American Public Health Association brings together communities nationwide during the first week of April to observe National Public Health Week (NPHW). Visit NPHW.org to learn more and find tools to plan and celebrate. Immunization is essential to public health. Adolescent Immunization Action Week (#AIAW24) is April 1-5. AIAW aims to motivate adolescents and young adults to stay current on their recommended vaccines. Please mark your calendars and join us in spreading the word to help more adolescents and young adults get caught up on recommended vaccines.
