Dozens of his own colleagues refused to support his cynical bid to wield the Speaker’s gavel, and most of them cited Jordan’s role in the January 6th insurrection and his persistent belief in the Big Lie, that Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election.
What happened there mirrored exactly what we’ve been seeing on the ground for months: independent-minded conservatives, Republicans, and swing voters have turned away from the GOP and from fascists like Jim Jordan in droves. And they can be won and brought over to our side when they see that Tamie is a real leader who can and WILL unseat Jim Jordan.
