John,
With children across the country staying home from school to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), our focus on protecting their safety and well-being has never been more important.
We know that when young people feel excluded, bullied or depressed, they're at risk of harming themselves or others. The heartbreaking reality is that these problems don't go away when students are kept at home – such issues can get worse during this crisis.
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, we've seen more reports of children at risk of cyberbullying, depression, suicide and abuse via our Say Something Anonymous Reporting System. The program empowers young people to prevent tragedies by reporting warning signs or threats of violence. That's why our dedicated crisis center staff is available 24/7: to get kids the help they need and save lives.
But we need to raise $15,000 by tomorrow to keep programs like these running and to support all of our lifesaving work to protect children from gun violence in these difficult times. Please, if you're able, will you make a donation right now to help save lives?
Please donate $10, or as much as you can, to Sandy Hook Promise today. Your support will make a world of difference as we do everything we can to keep children safe and prevent future tragedies.

In especially tough times like these, it fills me with hope to know I can count on supporters like you to step up and protect children when it matters most. Your action will save lives, and I can't tell you how grateful we are.
Thank you,
Paula Fynboh
