Because Jesus conquered death, we joyfully celebrate that one day we will also experience a bodily resurrection . . .
ACLJ Prayer Guide | January - March 2024

John,

The entire Christian faith hinges on what took place on the first Easter morning 2,000 years ago. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, then we would have no hope. But because Jesus conquered death, we joyfully celebrate that one day we will also experience a bodily resurrection.

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:52–53)

We no longer owe the debt of sin because Jesus paid the penalty for sin on the cross. And death is not the end for Christians – it's only the beginning. This Easter, we celebrate our risen Savior and the knowledge that we will see Him one day.
