With a moment to reflect on this day of renewal, I am thinking back on all that has happened in recent months.  And I am looking ahead to the remainder of this year with a sense of optimism and hope. We have great challenges ahead of us in 2024.  And we have great opportunities to move our communities and country forward—with purpose and with people who will bring us together.  

Electing our leaders is such an important part of charting our path forward.  I am grateful to everyone who is engaging in the effort to elect people who will lead us as we deserve to be, on this campaign and on campaigns around the country.

As today also marks the end of the first quarter of the year, I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this campaign this quarter in particular.  We fought a hard primary race this month, and we needed the contributions of time and money that so many gave so generously.  Now that the month is over, we are looking ahead.  And we will keep working every day until November (and after that, too) to make sure we elect people who will lead us forward as we deserve—with hope, with faith in our fellow citizens, and with love of our country and our Constitution.

Together, we can do anything,
