Hey there team, I know my team has reached out a number of times this week about tonight's FEC fundraising deadline, but I'm personally emailing you one last time to ask:

Please let me explain why I'm asking:

When we close our books at midnight and all the dust settles, we're legally required to report our fundraising numbers. That's why it's important that we finish today as strong as we possibly can and send a powerful message of support not only for me, but for our Democratic Senate majority as well.

To do that we've set some important goals, both in terms of dollars raised and individual contributions generated. We're not quite where we need to be right now, but if everyone reading this email chips in what they can today, I have no doubt we'll get there.

I'm counting on you today, Karen, so please:

Can you make first contribution — of whatever amount you can afford — to help our campaign hit our goals before midnight? It'd mean a great deal to me to see your name on our donor list today.
