Team,
- NYT, 3/22/24
“Defy gravity.” “The race of his life.” “The toughest of his career.” These are just a few of the ways the New York Times described Sherrod Brown’s Senate race in their latest piece.
And frankly, they’re not wrong. This is going to be a hard-fought battle all the way to the finish line.
That’s why I’m asking: Will you pitch in $5 towards our $15,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal so we can help Sherrod win this race and protect our Democratic Senate majority?
Ohio Republicans know they can’t just waltz their way to the election in November and win this seat. Governor Mike DeWine recently attended a campaign event for Bernie Moreno and said: “This is not going to be an easy race, folks… I’ve run against this man.”
That’s why they’re pulling out all the stops. Whether they’re asking Moreno to dig deeper into his personal war chest of cash to write himself million-dollar checks or enlisting national Republicans to spend record-breaking sums in Ohio to buy this seat, they’re giving this race everything they’ve got.
And we have to do the same.
Because this isn’t just about Ohio. It’s about control of the Senate and the future of our entire country.
We can’t afford to end this quarter on the back foot. If you can, pitch in $5 ahead of our deadline at midnight so we can give Sherrod Brown the resources he needs to win this seat that could decide control of the Senate >>>
Thank you,
Liz Walters
Control of the House and Senate runs right through Ohio this year. Can Ohio Democrats count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to help fuel our fight to hold on to the Senate and flip the House? →
