Hi friend! I’m Cynthia, Emily’s mom. To be honest, fundraising is a bit out of my comfort zone. Her first leadership role was as a big sister to her brother, Zack, and sister, Olivia – and she was a natural. Caring for Olivia, who was born with complex disabilities and medical needs, gave Emily a deeper understanding of the challenges of our healthcare system and sparked her instinct to stand up for peers who were bullied or left out.
