Our movement has always focused on building long-term trust with voters and boosting Democratic turnout, especially in hard-to-reach communities.
We reach out to folks most campaigns don’t think about reaching out to, and we don’t leave people behind. And with this year shaping up to be the most critical election of our lifetimes, our work is more important than ever.
The Trump campaign has circled Minnesota as one of their “key battlegrounds.” They think that if they spend enough on attack ads and overwhelm us with division and hate, they can flip us red.
We know that no matter what they throw at us, there’s no substitute for people-power and grassroots organizing. But all of this means meeting all of our fundraising goals.
Right now, we’re still trailing our first end-of-quarter goal of the election year by about $8,000, and online contributions have drastically slowed since Friday. If we don’t pick up the pace now, we won’t be able to reach our goal.
