I just wanted to check in real quick before our end-of-quarter deadline tonight.
Special Olympics athletes are capable of breaking records, transcending limitations, and tearing down boundaries: But in order to do this, they need your support!
With just a few hours until our midnight deadline, we still haven’t hit our fundraising goal, so we’re really counting on this community to join us in hitting that $30,000 mark before midnight tomorrow. This will make an enormous difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes! Let’s see where you stand:

Spring is in the air! 🌺🏀🌼🎾🌳🧢
In your state and across the country, spring sports like basketball and track are kicking into gear, and spring training is opening up for athletes of all ages, from the pros to the rookies to everyone in between. And we want to make CERTAIN that people with intellectual disabilities (ID) don’t get left behind!
Phenomenal athletes like Abel, whom you see pictured above. Before Abel competed in the World Games as a Special Olympics Unified basketball player, before he got the chance to play at Madison Square Garden with NBA legends, he remembers the constant bullying he experienced at school – he remembers feeling “worthless.”
It wasn’t until he joined Special Olympics that he decided, in his words, to “prove to myself that I am better than [that].” Helping athletes with ID like Abel excel is why we’re aiming to raise $30,000 by the end of the first quarter of the year (which is this Sunday). Your gift will directly help more athletes access the games, teams, and MAGIC of the Special Olympics movement – from the excitement of spring training to their first step onto the court – so please, donate now >>>
We’ll be frank: We never want to miss an end-of-quarter fundraising goal. As one of Special Olympics’ loyal supporters, you know what a missed fundraising goal for our community can, unfortunately, add up to:
❌ A person with ID misses their chance to make an awesome new friend through sports.
❌ A Special Olympics team can’t train and compete if their Program budget shrinks.
❌ An athlete with ID loses access to our free, inclusive health screenings if we have to roll back services.
Spring is the time of year for growth, new beginnings, and getting outside for fun in the sun! The LAST thing we want to do is provide fewer opportunities like these for people with ID – to get off the sidelines and become their best, happiest selves through the experience of sports. So, are you willing to do your part this quarter?
We only have until Sunday to raise $30,000 to make sure Special Olympics athletes have everything they need to thrive and succeed this spring – and beyond! Give now to change an athlete’s life:

Let’s knock this goal out of the park!
