On Easter Sunday we all come together to celebrate the glorious Good News of our Lord and Savior. We remember Jesus’ sacrifice and celebrate His resurrection—His victory over sin and death.
Today, believers around the world are celebrating Jesus’ resurrection through a variety of traditions. Here at Prison Fellowship, we celebrate Easter behind bars—a tradition that started with our founder, Chuck Colson—using Hope Events.
At every Hope Event®, we share the Good News and Christ’s love with prisoners across the country. A Hope Event is where prisoners find respite from the challenges of prison life and a safe place to encounter Christ—many for the first time. These events wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers, featured speakers, musicians, and other inspirational guests who take the time to remember those in prison.
