Yesterday marked the biggest FEC deadline of the campaign so far - a crucial goal that we had to hit to keep up the momentum of this campaign. But unfortunately we fell almost $230,000 short of our $2.5 million goal, and we can't afford to fall any further behind if we're going to Ditch Mitch.

We know Mitch is vulnerable right now: Recent polling shows him TIED with Amy McGrath, and election expert Nate Silver says Democrats have a real shot to beat him in November.

But the truth is, missing goals like this one puts our chances of defeating Mitch McConnell in serious danger.

And it's not just about Mitch, either. Defeating Mitch McConnell wouldn't just rid our country of its most vile senator; it would also virtually guarantee that Democrats take back the Senate majority, too. But right now - after falling short of our biggest FEC deadline of the year - we could easily lose our chance to regain the Senate majority, unless we turn things around.
