Just this spring:

In the Texas Panhandle, the largest wildfire in state history has taken numerous lives, burned down hundreds of buildings, and scorched over 1.3 million acres. 

Torrential rainfall caused flash floods in Atlanta that destroyed homes and businesses, felled trees, and led to emergency rescues by boat across the city.  Many parts of the world are experiencing record-breaking, unprecedented heat. Across Japan, more than 480 heat records were shattered in just under three days in February. Spain had its hottest January on record. These are just a few examples of skyrocketing global temperatures. 

Climate Champion, unless we act, we will continue to live in constant danger of the next extreme weather disaster – and it’s only going to get worse from here.
