John,
Right-wing billionaire Jeffrey Yass is expanding his empire.
After his failed attempts to defeat WFP champions Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke in Philadelphia last year, Yass has set his sights on Rep. Summer Lee and other progressives nationwide in 2024.
He's already donated $46 million to right-wing groups and corporate Democrats this cycle.1 But that’s not even the most concerning move he’s made recently.
Last week, Yass’ hedge fund helped arrange an acquisition of Trump’s social media company, Truth Social, resulting in an immediate $4 billion increase in wealth for the disgraced former president.2
It’s not enough that he’s spending a fortune to try and unseat working-class candidates around the country. He's now trying to make his way back into Trump’s good graces, and is rumored to be a front-runner for Treasury Secretary in a Trump White House.3
These are the kinds of threats we’re up against this year: unprecedented attacks against WFP candidates fueled by GOP megadonors like Jeffrey Yass. And in order to fight back and defend our champions, we need resources. That’s why we’re asking you to make a donation before our end-of-quarter grassroots fundraising deadline tomorrow. Can you pitch in?

The strategy of GOP megadonors like Jeffrey Yass is one of attrition.
They failed to defeat our champions in Philadelphia last year, but could spend even more the next time they’re up for re-election.
They failed to defeat Rep. Summer Lee in PA-12 last cycle, but this year are spending even more to try and unseat her.
So far, Yass has failed to defund public education, ban abortion, or enact tax cuts for Pennsylvania’s wealthiest citizens. But the candidates that his PAC is supporting this year are championing those very same causes.
And now, after these previous attempts were thwarted by sensible and passionate voters at the polls, he’s trying to put Trump back in the White House and MAGA back in control of the entire federal government.
Jeffrey Yass — like so many other far-right billionaires — has bottomless pockets. And we know he’s just getting started this cycle.
We can’t let super PACs and right-wing billionaires like Yass drown out our candidates' voices. But in order to do our best door-to-door and face-to-face organizing, we need the resources to make sure we reach as many voters as possible.
So John, before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline tomorrow, are you able to make a donation to support our work to not only defend our current WFP champions, but elect new ones to office this year?

We may not have billions to spend like the other side does. But pound-for-pound, dollar-for-dollar, we have the power to out-organize them. We've proven that our ideas, values, and candidates CAN win. But only with your support.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
