How it started: We’ve always known we were in for a tough fight. From day one of this election cycle, experts have said that my race could decide Senate control, and CNN named me one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection this year.

Meanwhile: Mitch McConnell-aligned super PACs made their largest ad reservation in a single state ever in an attempt to flip this seat.

Now: We’re facing our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2024, and it’s more important than ever that we have the resources to win in November and defend Democrats’ Senate majority.
