Today is National Doctors’ Day, a day meant to celebrate doctors everywhere for their unwavering support and commitment to providing quality healthcare to their communities.

Here at Team Schrier, it’s no surprise who our favorite doctor is: Dr. Kim Schrier! And to help us celebrate Dr. Schrier, we’re asking all her top supporters to join us by chipping in just $5 to ensure she reaches her end-of-quarter goal.

For Kim, being a doctor was more than just putting on her white coat and going to work. It was about serving our community, looking after our children as a pediatrician, and doing everything she could to ensure quality care was within reach for her neighbors in WA-08. It’s this drive that led her to run for office, so she could bring her expertise as a doctor to Congress and help drive action on how to best bring affordable care to every American.

Since entering Congress, Dr. Schrier has passed legislation that has lowered prescription drug costs, capped the price of insulin at $35, protected healthcare for those with preexisting conditions, and more. And to this day, she is proud to be on the frontline, fighting for women’s reproductive care as one of only two pro-choice doctors in Congress.

On this day, we recognize that serving your community as a doctor can take on many forms, and here at Team Schrier, we’re so grateful to have Kim in Congress, championing healthcare rights for us all.
