With our end-of-quarter deadline right around the corner, we wanted to give a quick breakdown of costs and why it’s important to raise the full $18,000. Pitch in today if you haven’t already.

Here’s what we’re looking at:

Our primary is less than a month away, so we’re looking at your typical Get Out The Vote costs here: resources, volunteer support, digital campaigns, and the voter database — all things that cost money and make a material difference.

We’re going to have a far-right opponent going head-to-head with Mary Gay. And we must be ready to spend on messaging and organizing on day one of the general. This includes building out our ground game (hiring organizing fellows and staff!), holding events, budgeting for a strong digital outreach campaign, and taking on all of the attacks from MAGA that come our way.

While we hope to show a strong fundraising effort in our public report, it’s so much more than that with the primary so near. The money we raise will help us Get Out The Vote here in Southeast PA and set us up with momentum for the general election in which GOP mega-donors will throw money behind our opponent.
