I know it’s a holiday weekend for many, so I’ll try to be quick.

If your inbox is like mine, it’s probably flooded with requests for support ahead of the upcoming end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. Here’s why I believe you should contribute to the Michigan Victory Fund today, out of all these great campaigns and organizations:

Simply put, what happens in Michigan in 2024 will have a monumental impact on the future of our country and our democracy.

That’s true for the White House, where, after losing Michigan to Joe Biden, Donald Trump now leads Joe Biden in the polls here. That’s true for the U.S. Senate, where Democrats must win my open seat to keep our razor-thin majority. And it’s true if we’re going to flip the U.S. House blue — Michigan’s congressional races will play a key role in determining what party holds the majority.

Friend, I started the Michigan Victory Fund because I know how important it is for our state and our country to keep Michigan Blue. This is my last email to you before the end-of-quarter deadline, and I’d be grateful to have your support in reaching our $20,000 fundraising goal. With less than 48 hours to go, we’re still $1,500 short, and we really need your help right now.
