In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make an end-of-quarter gift to Climate Reality to help power our grassroots fight for a sustainable future. But first, I’m going to tell you why our trainings are essential to create real, meaningful change. 

Next month, we’ll hit a major milestone: Our biggest in-person Climate Reality Leadership Corps training ever.  

Thousands of activists will join former Vice President Al Gore in New York City to learn about effective climate policies and best practices, explore the road to a true net zero future and how we get there, and strengthen key advocacy and organizing skills. 

As a trainings and events senior manager, I have witnessed how these trainings, which are provided free of charge, are critical in equipping activists with the tools and the network to lead the clean energy transition in their own communities – and put a stop to new and existing fossil fuel projects and infrastructure. 

From leading the effort to commit the Los Angeles Unified School District to transition to 100% clean energy to supporting a successful campaign to stop a proposed petrochemical plant in the Ohio River Valley, our network of grassroots leaders across the globe are fighting for a more just and sustainable future – and they’re winning.  

Climate Champion, just $1,000 can help Climate Reality train one Climate Reality Leader through an in-person Leadership Corps training or four Climate Reality Leaders through a virtual training.  

We’ve set a $15,000 end-of-quarter goal to fund more programs just like this one – and continue training thousands of Climate Reality Leaders across the globe. But right now, we’re falling short of our goal to support this crucial work.
