Friends,
I got a favor to ask you.
My friend and former Senate counsel Josh Riley is running for Congress in NY-19, and his next FEC deadline is just a day away. Will you join me right now by splitting a contribution of $10 or more between Josh Riley and Fight for Reform?
I can’t say enough good things about Josh.
Josh is the hardest working person I know. Together we passed bills expanding rights for survivors of domestic abuse and providing new funding for addiction treatment and mental health programs. We also made a lot of Republican witnesses look very bad. Josh really cares about all the stuff I care about – and probably the stuff you care about too!
If that isn’t enough to convince you, NY-19 is a must-win for Democrats to take back the House. Cook Political Report, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, and all the other smart people who know this stuff have already rated it a “toss-up.” It’s a true swing district, but Biden won it by 4% in 2020 and I know Josh can win it in 2024 – with our help!
So this is pretty much the full package: a great candidate who will always do what’s right, and a big race we absolutely have to win.
Can Josh and I count on your support? The next big fundraising deadline of Josh’s campaign is coming up, and all eyes are on him. Please split a contribution between Fight for Reform to help them elect pto-Democracy state and local Dems and Josh’s campaign today.
Thanks,
Al
PS - As you may know, I always end with a P.S. that’s just an excuse for another ask. This is a super important deadline, so please chip in what you can!
Josh Riley is only asking for contributions of up to $5,000 from individuals, federal PACs, and other federally permissible sources for End Citizens United-Nonfederal. Josh Riley is not asking for contributions in excess of that amount or any contributions from corporations, unions, or other federally prohibited sources.
