“A vote for London would really be a vote empowering that
female voice for women that feel invisible, women that feel
disempowered, women that feel like they don’t matter,” California
State Controller Malia Cohen said. “...London really embodies that and
has experienced all of that in her lifetime and is cognizant of it
when she’s making decisions.”

John, Mayor Breed celebrated Women's History Month with
over 200 women attending an event focusing on the importance of
turning out women to vote in November 2024. As the
first Black female mayor in San Francisco, Mayor Breed is among a
small group of just eight Black women who lead the nation’s 100 most
populous cities. Since taking office, Mayor Breed has
defied expectations, overcome crises, and excelled at creating a
thriving San Francisco by approaching leadership with empathy,
compassion, and perseverance. Her tenacity hasn’t gone
unnoticed – she’s already been endorsed by hundreds of women leaders
across the state and nation who agree that Mayor Breed is the right
choice to lead San Francisco into the future. If
you’re with us, will you show your support by making a grassroots
contribution before the end of the month? We’re building a movement to
support Mayor Breed, and we still need 65 new supporters before
midnight tomorrow.
As mayor, she has fought to have more than just a seat at the
table. She is empowering her peers and younger generations to have a
strong and active presence, making life-changing decisions, and always
be fearless. At her core, she knows women understand struggle
while bringing compassion and empathy to their choices. Mayor Breed
knows that when women lead, things get done. We
need your support in the contest ahead. Can you pitch in immediately
to help Mayor Breed compete and win again? We need to bring on another
65 new donors before midnight Sunday.
We must keep moving forward. — Women for London
