My finance team just texted me with some bad news about our end-of-quarter fundraising numbers.

Long story short, we did not raise what we needed yesterday and are still $3,061 short of our goal. The only good news is that we still have time until midnight tomorrow to make up the gap.

These numbers will be going public after this month, and if we can’t reach our goal before the deadline, it will make me the target of extremist Republicans who want to take our state and our country backward.

I know you understand how much is at stake right now.
