I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why your grassroots contribution is needed now more than ever.
In a moment, I’m going to ask if you can pitch in to help us reach our $15,000 end-of-quarter goal before tomorrow at midnight — but before I do, I hope you’ll give me a moment of your time and let me explain just how much your contribution matters right now.
This year has been a busy one so far. Far-right Republicans in Congress and state legislatures across the country are focused on re-electing Donald Trump and advancing their radical agenda, including banning abortion, repealing universal free school lunches, and attacking the LGBTQ+ community.
Meanwhile, here in California, I’m working to take on corporate greed, stop right-wing attacks on our basic rights, and ensure our state is doing everything it can to make life better for every Californian.
That includes efforts to maintain and expand on our commonsense gun violence prevention laws, build more affordable housing for families of all income levels, prevent big polluters from harming our environment and worsening the climate crisis, stop massive corporations from consolidating and hurting consumers, and a whole lot more.
It’s a busy job, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s an honor to lead our state in tackling the biggest issues facing us, and I want to keep my attention on the work at hand instead of making calls for donations to reach our fundraising goals.
That’s where YOU come in! Your grassroots donations, no matter what amount, directly fuel our campaign’s work while I focus my attention on being your Attorney General.
Our campaign is still behind on our first-quarter goal of $15,000, and we’re running out of time to reach it before the month ends. Can you rush $5 or more right now to help us get back on track before tomorrow’s midnight deadline?

I can’t thank you enough for all you do to power our campaign for justice and progress for ALL across California.
In solidarity,
Rob
