We have some great news: Goldie’s Act was introduced in the U.S. Senate last week. Federal bills need to pass the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate to become law—and now they are both considering this important bill. There is a path to victory.

Goldie’s Act would compel the U.S. Department of Agriculture to finally do its job and protect the quarter-million dogs suffering in licensed commercial breeding facilities, also known as puppy mills. The agency has failed over and over, allowing abuse and neglect to continue. That is why we need Goldie’s Act.
