Hi, friend — Kate, Debbie's campaign manager, here. With under 36 hours until our biggest deadline yet, I'm working overtime to ensure she has the assets to stay competitive in the months ahead.

Right now, that all rides on whether we reach our $700,000 end-of-quarter goal by midnight tomorrow — so I'll be honest, it made me really nervous when I checked ActBlue this morning and saw that there was still a $20,178 shortfall to close:

So I'm reaching out to Debbie's most dedicated supporters, like you, friend, to help us make up the gap in time. Will you please chip in right away to help us stay on track to flip Florida blue?

As her campaign manager, it's my job to set Debbie up for success in every aspect — from hiring staff, to allocating resources, to responding to the press, and building our Florida-first movement from the ground up. So I can't stress enough how crucial it is that we hit our end-of-quarter goal:

1. As soon as our report goes public, Rick Scott and his extremist GOP donors will watch to see if we have the support to pose a real threat. Our success tomorrow night is a direct indicator of our chances of success in November.

2. Scott has a huge fortune to bankroll his campaign — but he's also hugely unpopular in Florida. With polls showing Scott and Debbie statistically tied, if we have the funds to spread the word to the 15% of undecided voters, Debbie's got a real shot to win.

3. Spreading the word means investing in ads, and Florida is one of the priciest markets nationwide. If we don't have the money to book ads NOW, Scott will have already crowded us out of airtime by the time we do.

In short, this goal will decide if we'll have the funds to keep up with Rick Scott all the way to November and win. But right now, we're pacing behind — so I've got to ask, friend: Can I please count on you to step up with a donation of $5, $25, or anything to help Debbie reach it?
