I am so proud of the campaign we are building together here in Ohio.

Right now, we are gearing up for a battle for both a U.S. Senate race and a battleground presidential election in which the stakes could not be any higher.

Donald Trump cannot be allowed to return to the White House. He represents a grave security risk to our entire country.

When I served in the Navy, I never imagined that the stakes of our elections would be so enormous. Growing up, when people in my hometown voted for Republicans it never meant that our democracy was threatened. But that’s what Trump represents, and we have to talk with voters in every part of the country to build a common sense pro-democracy coalition to defeat Trump and every Republican candidate who blindly supports him.

That’s what this campaign is about, and what we are dedicated to doing. And that’s why I have set our sights high for these final days of our first fundraising quarter of this election year.
