[1]Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate

John,

At the end of last month, I went to Jeff City — our state capital and my
hometown — and officially filed the paperwork to put my name on the ballot
to represent Missouri in the U.S. Senate. I was honored to have a packed
crowd standing with me as we kicked off this campaign.

I got into this race because I want to take back power for everyday people
in this country — starting with working families right here in Missouri —
and it’s important to me as I travel across the state to both hear from
them and amplify their stories.

Keep reading to see what I’ve been up to this quarter:

In January, I talked with hundreds of workers at IBEW Local 1 who know how
critical it is for us to make stuff in America again and put our country
first in next-generation industries — things I’ll always fight for when
I’m in the U.S. Senate.

A few weeks later, I signed the petition to get abortion rights on the
ballot in Missouri. Reproductive freedom is on the line this year, and I
was honored to join tens of thousands of Missourians signing on to take
back our power from control-obsessed elites this November.

I also met up with Missouri Fire Fighters — and got to see even more of
their awesome Fire Fighters For Kunce signs! Here’s what they told me that
day:

"We look for two things in a Senator: An effective leader who actually
fights for us on our issues, and someone we'd trust to dive into a
basement fire with us if they were in our unit. Josh Hawley is neither."

Finally, in March, I had the pleasure of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day
with members of IBEW Local 24. And just earlier this week, I had the
opportunity to touch base with Missouri’s Machinist Union about what they
need from our state’s leaders.

I’m inspired by the solidarity and determination I’ve witnessed from
working people this quarter, and I can’t wait to keep getting out there
and meeting with even more Missourians who are ready to take back their
power this November.

But right now, my campaign is facing its most critical deadline yet — our
first FEC fundraising deadline of 2024 — and we’re working hard to keep
breaking records and proving the strength of our grassroots movement. So
I’m asking:

[ [link removed] ]Will you add a donation of $10 or anything at all so we
can defeat Josh Hawley and take this Senate seat back for everyday,
working Missourians? This is our best shot to flip a GOP-held U.S. Senate
seat in 2024, so your support right now could make all the difference for
our campaign.

All the Missourians I met this quarter remind me why this fight is so
important. They need a U.S. Senator who will have their back — and I’m
ready to serve.

In solidarity,

Lucas Kunce
