Team, this is Paul Eaton. Retired Major General with the U.S. Army, and a proud member of the VoteVets team.

In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to VoteVets before our first, official FEC deadline of the election year.

Before I do, I hope you’ll let me explain why your support is so critical, especially now.

A man who has never served in the Military, a man who has never served anyone but himself, a man who has no understanding of what service to our nation truly means… is running to become President and Commander in Chief.

At a time when our nation is facing one of the most complex, fast moving, and dangerous threat environments in a generation or more, the work that VoteVets is doing is so, so important.

Make no mistake: A second Trump Presidency where he directs America to abandon our democratic values and our obligations to allies and partners the world over, is the path to war, not peace.

We have served. We know the cost of war. That is why VoteVets is working so hard to defeat Trump. And emails like this to supporters like you are among the largest sources of donations that VoteVets has.

Without you, victory over Trump will be difficult. With you, we will end his march to power once and for all.

It is important that we show friend and foe alike that VoteVets has the resources we need to accomplish our objectives. After tomorrow’s FEC deadline VoteVets will be legally required to report our fundraising numbers. Everyone will be watching.
