Hey there folks,

Earlier this month, President Biden delivered the State of the Union. He said something that really has stuck with me, and recently I've been thinking about it:

January 6th and the lies about the 2020 election, and the plots to steal the election, posed the gravest threat to our democracy since the Civil War. But they failed. America stood strong and democracy prevailed.

I can tell you firsthand: President Biden is absolutely right.

Donald Trump instigated his mobs of supporters, turned them loose on our U.S. Capitol, and ran scared back to the White House. It was a dangerous game he was playing.

As a U.S. Capitol Police Officer, I was there that day – fighting for our democracy and my own life alongside my coworkers as they were crippled, beaten bloody, and pepper sprayed.

That’s why I’m running for Congress in MD-03. I’m determined to hold people accountable and protect our democracy.

Biden is right that American democracy prevailed, but we need more pro-democracy representatives in Congress. I defended our democracy with my life on January 6th, and I will defend it with everything I’ve got in Congress.
