When I was just 17, I survived one of the deadliest school shootings in our country.

After the Parkland Shooting, I was determined to do something about this injustice along with countless other young people.

Since then, we’ve witnessed firsthand how the cowardly GOP has let us down over and over again – only offering “thoughts and prayers” and blocking critical gun safety legislation.

That’s why I started Leaders We Deserve to elect young leaders to office who are ready to make real change in Congress and State Legislatures across the country.

I KNOW we can elect a HISTORIC wave of young gun safety leaders to office.

In just our first few months we’ve already accomplished so much.

We elected Nadarius Clark to the Virginia Assembly and helped take back the Virginia legislature for Democrats.

And just helped elect Christine Cockley to become the youngest state legislator in Ohio and the second Jewish woman to serve in the legislature as she won her primary and still has a general but it’s a very blue seat. She is almost certainly going to win in November.
