I'm writing today to urgently ask you to split a contribution — of $3 or any amount you can — between our re-election campaign and the campaign of my friend Summer Lee.

Let me explain why:

Even before her historic election to Congress in 2022, Summer has never backed down from big fights with wealthy and powerful special interests who put profits before the lives of working people.

One of the consequences of that — as our movement is fully aware — is that our opponents have an obscene amount of resources at their disposal to hit back at us with.

Groups like AIPAC and their United Democracy Project super PAC are preparing to spend $100 million against progressives all across the country, especially women of color like me and Summer.

Just last cycle, they spent $5 million trying to defeat Summer alone, and they're back at it here in 2024 with the same playbook to try again.

The simple truth is that AIPAC and their billionaire donors would love nothing more than to silence the voices of two strong, progressive, Black women who have committed their lives to fighting for justice here at home and across the globe.

With less than 48 hours to go until our March FEC deadline, and just three weeks until Summer's primary in Pennsylvania, there's never been a more urgent time to show that our progressive movement stands united and is ready to fight back with everything we've got.

Summer Lee is an essential ally in our progressive movement's collective struggle, so please:

Can you split a contribution — of $3 or any amount — between our campaign and Summer Lee's today? It's going to take a LOT of resources for us to fight back against the right wing and their super PACs, and your support is the only way we can make it happen.

I know that I can speak for both Summer and myself when I say thank you for being a part of this movement, and for standing alongside us today.
