** Lots of Jokes, But Rep. Christian Isn't One

Hi. I'm Renee, Bob's Campaign Strategist. I told him to let me take the intro on this newsletter because April 1 is his birthday.
If you know Bob like I do, him being born April Fools Day is fitting. His ability to laugh at life and with his friends is one of the reasons I wanted to work with him. But, just because he can act the fool, he absolutely is not one. We need true representation in Washington. Our rights are being rolled back one by one -- my daughter's healthcare, my mom's social security that she's paid into her whole life, my friend's rights to love who they love without repercussions, a parent's right to decide what their children learn -- and I am tired of watching our current Representative show allegiance to his party and donors, not his constituents. Most of all, I wanted to work with Bob because he has his finger on the pulse of what is important for North Georgia like no one else I know. How do I know? Because he calls me and catches me up daily, telling me what I must read and what he heard. He sends texts with seemingly random messages that turn into really great ideas. Sending Bob to Congress,
making him Representative Christian, would be a gift for all of us, not a joke.
So I wanted to use this opportunity to give him some extra me time (which he will use reading more about the District, but, if I'm being honest, that's what makes him happiest) to tell you what I see and why I chose to help Bob get to Congress. We have a close partnership. He probably only talks to his wife, Fran, more often than he does me.
Fran and I tried to figure out what to get him for his birthday. The only thing we came up with is donor dollars. He truly loves what he is doing. Fighting for North Georgia the way he fought for the US in Iraq is his passion. Please help me wish Bob a happy birthday by donating to help him get the word out and get to Congress where he can continue to work for us.

The only other way Fran and I know to celebrate Bob is to have a party. Save the date for April 27 and stay tuned for more details. You won't want to miss it!
The Supreme Court - SCOTUS heard arguments in the cases of the FDA V. ALLIANCE FOR HIPPOCRATIC MEDICINE and DANCO LABORATORIES, L.L.C. V. ALLIANCE FOR HIPPOCRATIC MEDICINE; otherwise known as the mifepristone case. Based on the lines of questioning, initial belief is that the court will recognize the FDAs authority and mifepristone will not be banned. The formal ruling is expected in mid-June.
In other actions the Supreme Court denied an expediated hearing for the Trump Immunity case. They have scheduled a hearing on the case for April 25. A ruling in this case is also expected in mid-June.
6th Congressional District Delegate Elections - It is time to select the delegates who will represent the 6th CD at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The election will take place Saturday, April 6th between 9am and 2:30pm at Gleaming Events, in Cumming, Ga.
