Dear John,

It's Census Day! By this time, you should have already received the 2020 Census invitations that have been sent out to all mailboxes across the country.

For the first time ever, the U.S. Census Bureau is providing a place for individuals to write in their national origin next to their preferred racial categories.

To make it even easier, the Census can now also be completed online. Each household will receive a unique access code to use when filling out the Census online.

Why Write in "Iranian" on the 2020 Census? ✍️
We need your help to count every member of our community that is of Iranian national origin or heritage in order. Doing so gives us a stronger voice and affords the Iranian-American community certain benefits, including by providing services that address the needs of a specific community, like providing access to Persian-speaking nurses.

Now is the time to come together as a unified community and do our part to ensure an accurate count of Iranian Americans.

How to Fill Out the 2020 Census 🖥️
Visit my2020census.gov and click on Start Questionnaire. When you reach question number 9, choose your preferred racial categories from the list of options AND write in "Iranian" in the provided box.
