Hey — Brittany again. I know I emailed you yesterday, so I’ll be as brief as I can:
We still need one last big push to reach our fundraising goal before tomorrow night’s quarterly FEC deadline. Will you please pitch in and help me and my team get there?

Every congressional campaign in the country is up against this big deadline. And I apologize for adding to what must be an infuriating number of emails in your inbox, but this deadline is a little more important for us than it is for some other campaigns out there. Here’s why (again, briefly):
I paid my own way through school doing everything from waiting tables to pushing carts at a grocery store, starting from when I was 12 years old. I’m proud to have a story that’s so different from most of my colleagues in Congress — and, unlike many of them, I can’t afford to write my campaign a six-figure check if we fall short of our fundraising goals!
I’m also proud that, unlike so many other politicians, we have a real, powerful, grassroots team behind us.
Unlike the other side, I’m not relying on anti-choice super PACs or big checks from election deniers to fund my campaign. We’re powered by hardworking people from all walks of life who believe in our mission just giving what they can, when they can — and this incredible team has never let us down yet.
So, yes, I’m reaching out, on a Saturday, because getting a fundraising boost and hitting our goal before tomorrow really, truly matters. It matters for our fight for decent, effective representation here in Colorado, and it matters for our chances of flipping the House blue so that we can make real progress for our nation.
If you’re with me, I’m asking you to pitch in what you can this weekend, because this is our most important deadline yet of the election cycle, and we need to catch up quick.
