We want to give you some context on why this deadline is so important.

There are only three of these EOQ deadlines before the election: at the end of March, the end of June, and the end of September. These deadlines represent when campaigns must announce how much money they’ve raised.

That means these fundraising deadlines inform campaign budgets – specifically, how much campaigns will have to spend on TV and digital ads, staff, offices, polling, and so many other things.

These fundraising deadlines also signal strength – how strong each campaign is and whether it can actually compete and win.

It is extremely important for us to show up big on this first end-of-quarter deadline. It is the first EOQ fundraising deadline of the 2024 election – and how much Democrats raise will directly affect how they run their campaigns this year.
