Folks – in a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in and help me keep Maryland and the Senate blue. But first, I want to share how growing up here made me the person I am today.
If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m a Marylander through and through. I grew up in Cheverly – a humble, working-class community. My mom was a public school teacher and my dad was a salesman for Trans World Airlines.
Growing up on the family farm taught me what it means to work hard and help others. So when we fell on hard times and my dad lost our farm to bankruptcy, I vowed to do everything I could to provide for my family.
After finishing undergrad at Furman University and graduate school at Wharton, my love for our state called me home and I started my business here.
Then, years later, I ran for Congress because I wanted to deliver real results for my community. Now, after three terms in the House, millions of dollars in funding secured for my district, and hundreds of bills passed that benefit our working families, I’m ready to go to work for all Marylanders. I’m running to continue championing our middle class, creating good-paying jobs, fighting for increased access to mental healthcare, and more.
As a kid, I never could have dreamt of the opportunity to run for Senate representing my home state – and I can’t do it without this team. So please, folks, will you make a donation before my first FEC deadline of the election year to help me keep this seat blue and fight for working families in the Senate? This is going to be one of the closest-watched Senate races in the country, and I'm counting on your help to win.
If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
Thanks for your support,
David
