We are living in an unsettling time. You may be feeling anxious, fearful, even angry. There are lots of emotions happening right now and that’s normal, but we will get through this. 
 
This isn’t the first time our country has encountered great difficulties and we’ve always gotten through it because Americans are resilient. We know how to rise to the challenge for the greater good. 
 
Leaders emerge and make the tough decisions and, just as important, every day people step up to help one another. We’re already seeing this. People checking in on elderly neighbors, volunteers getting food to vulnerable people, children giving front porch concerts. This is how we build resiliency, time and again, we step up and help each other.
 
We still have a ways to go before we beat COVID-19, and we will beat it because we’re working together. 
 
Stay safe, keep your distance… but stay connected to one another. 
 
We will get through this together.
