Friend, we're down to the wire here: My first end-of-quarter deadline of the election year is less than 48 hours away, and we're still pacing $21,619 short of my $700,000 goal. This is my biggest goal yet — and in just a couple of weeks, our fundraising numbers will go public for Rick Scott and the GOP to see, so reaching this goal is critical.
I knew that hitting this goal wouldn't be easy. But I'm not afraid of a tough fight, and Florida deserves a senator who will never back down. Will you let me explain? (If you're short on time, I really need your help to make up the gap here. Please, can you rush $5 right now to help me hit this goal and flip Florida blue?)

Growing up, my older sisters were fearless. As a young immigrant from Ecuador, new to America and struggling to find a community here, I needed advocates and role models exactly like them. Through lessons and by example, they taught me to always stand up for myself no matter what, whether I was facing schoolyard bullies or the teacher who refused to call on me because of my accent.
My sisters and my mom have always been my fiercest advocates. They showed me what it meant to work hard, how to fight for the future you deserve, and when to stand up and say ya no más — enough is enough.
I've carried their lessons with me my entire life, inspiring me to take on bullies in both the halls of my high school and the halls of Congress. And right now, Florida families have a bully as a senator.
Rick Scott only cares about three things: his interests, his far-right agenda, and his massive fortune. He's spent his time in the Senate attacking programs that help working families, pushing dangerous and out-of-touch policies, lying to voters, and promoting Trump's lies. I'm sick and tired of watching Rick Scott bully Florida families and push our state backward. Ya no más. I'm running to show this bully that Floridians deserve strong leadership and a brighter future.
But Rick Scott has a massive fortune that he's using to bankroll his campaign. That's why I've set this huge end-of-quarter goal. And I'm counting on your help to hit it. Please, will you rush $5 or more before midnight to help me defeat Rick Scott and stand up for Florida? Our race is neck and neck, but we could fall behind if we miss this goal!
