Happy Census Day, John!

Today is the reference day used in the 2020 U.S. Census, which means that every question that’s asked in the Census refers to this day forward.

You might be wondering, what even is the Census?

Well, our Social Media Director Norberto has answers for you in this fun and informative video!

Watch our video to learn more about the Census and donate to support VL’s work to ensure EVERY person is counted >> [[link removed]]

In summary, the Census is a complete count of the nation’s population that occurs every ten years and determines how much federal funding and political representation is given to districts across the country.

Unfortunately, our Latinx community often goes undercounted in the Census, which leads to less money for things like schools, ambulances, housing, and more -- plus less representation in government.

That’s why Voto Latino is committed to making sure every Latinx is counted in this year’s Census as we work to educate and engage hard-to-count communities.

Help support our work to make sure everyone -- regardless of immigration status or race -- is counted in the 2020 Census. Watch our video and chip in now! [[link removed]]

Thanks for helping us continue to build Latinx political power.

Lávense las manos y llene el Censo,
