Shed hunting season has arrived for some parts of the state
It?s springtime, and shed and horn hunting has officially kicked off for antler enthusiasts. But before venturing out, be sure to know which lands are open. Many sections of public lands, state lands and wildlife habitat management areas in western and southern Wyoming remain closed to shed antler and horn hunting.

Wildlife managers gain valuable knowledge on mule deer herds
Over the last year, mule deer managers at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department have been hard at work analyzing thousands of data points generated by collared deer on the landscape. The data collected in the project?s inaugural year has been revealing to wildlife managers and has already provided incredible insight into the daily lives of deer.
