Hi John,
This week, we joined hundreds of abortion access supporters outside of the Supreme Court to rally to protect access to medication abortion care. We were united in our message—our bodies and our freedom are not up for oral argument. WE decide our futures, not courts or politicians.
Inside the courtroom, lawyers and judges debated our fundamental freedom. Outside the courtroom, our president Nourbese Flint addressed the crowd and reminded us—“This moment is not about our opposition, it is about us, and the world we want to see.”
We know you’re with us when we say that the world we want to see is one with abortion justice—where all methods of care, including medication abortion, are available, affordable, and accessible for anyone who needs it. A world where, as Nourbese said, abortion justice is a right, not a luxury.
As we await for the Supreme Court to issue its final decision, there is still more you can do:
Sign our petition and demand that medication abortion care remain available;
Learn more about what’s at stake in this case with our new resource;
This fight is about medication abortion care, and so much more. It's about our fundamental freedom and believing that together, we can build the power that is necessary to ensure all of us, not just some of us, can define our futures and make decisions about our families.
Thank you for believing in this vision and building power with us. We need you now more than ever.
In solidarity,
