Through this teach-in, we will uplift youth voices and help them share how climate change has impacted their communities.

Hi John, it’s Aru, Executive Director at Sunrise Movement.

2024 could shape climate action for decades. This Earth Day, we’re taking a page from the past. We’re done with politicians using Earth Day trash clean-ups and picnics for publicity while they burn away our future.

On Earth Day, Sunrisers will hold teach-ins in over 50 towns and cities to tell the truth about the climate crisis and whether or not our local politicians are measuring up. We’ll tell stories about who we are, what we are fighting for, and how we got there.

Every dollar counts. If you are able to do more to support this work, consider giving a one-time donation now during our end-of-quarter fundraising drive.

As we continue through 2024, we know we have the determination and plans to turn our big, visionary demands into real change — but we’re going to need the funding to do so. And that’s why your donation can make a big difference today.

CONTRIBUTE

There are less than 72 hours until our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. Our goal is to receive exactly 50 grassroots contributions in order to fully fund the next round of climate actions on Earth Day.

But we'll be damned if we let corporate lobbyists and the fossil fuel industry decide our futures, which is why we're asking:

Can you donate $27 or any amount to help us reach our March goal of 50 donors?

Every dollar helps power our organizing for the bold climate legislation we deserve.

CONTRIBUTE

With your support in moments like this, we know we can make our Earth Day actions a success.

Thank you,

Aru
