As North Carolina’s Governor, I’ve worked hard to deliver real results.
Our state is the center of the clean energy economy, creating good-paying jobs across North Carolina. We enacted Medicaid Expansion, ensuring that hundreds of thousands more of our neighbors can access the health care they deserve.
I’ve fought for women’s reproductive rights, for our public school teachers and students, and for working North Carolinians who need their government to work for them.
But Republicans have put up roadblock after roadblock, and since gaining their legislative supermajority a year ago, they’ve gone on the attack. Their dangerous abortion ban was just the start. Extremist Republicans are also threatening the rights of LGBTQ+ North Carolinians, funding for our public schools, voting rights, and more.
John, I’m determined to stop them. We MUST break the GOP supermajorities and elect Democrats at every level of the NC ballot this fall. My team and I are devoting significant resources to supporting strong candidates who can defeat the GOP — but if we fall short of our fundraising projections, we will have to cut back.
